Although the tallest building in the world was the Empire State building from 1931 to 1972, engineering has gained momentum since then. Today, Empire State is out of the top 40 on the list.

10- TAIPEI 101

According to the Skyscraper Center, Taipei 101 is located in Taiwan. The height of the building completed in 2004 is 1,667 feet (about 508 meters). Being the 3rd tallest building in China, it also comes the 4th structure in Asia. You can experience the world’s fastest elevators that can speed up to 21 meters per second if you visit there.
