From New Zealand to the US: The Rocket Lab Story
Space is open for business.

Space continues to shape our future as it did in the past through works of both space agencies and private companies, of which Rocket Lab is one of them. The spaceflight initiative was founded in New Zealand’s Auckland in 2006 by Peter Beck. In this piece, we convey the Rocket Lab story to our space enthusiast readers.
Building and launching satellites, Rocket Lab established its second headquarters in California, the United States back in 2013. “With our Electron rocket and Photon spacecraft, we’ve simplified space, making it easy and affordable for companies, scientists, researchers, governments, entrepreneurs, and students alike, to get their ideas to orbit,” the company explains what they do.
Reusable rockets that have been used by SpaceX and Blue Origin to reduce the cost recently are among the works of Rocket Lab, which develops an 8-ton class launch vehicle.
Rocket Lab story and the company’s works
With 21 launches, the private spaceflight company deployed 105 satellites to orbit so far, and NASA along with the US Space Force are just the two customers of Rocket Lab. If you want to learn more, you can watch the video embedded above.
