Perseid Meteor Shower 2020: How to See It
A dark area and open sky is required for watching Perseid meteor shower.

Skywatchers will witness a stunning event which is known Perseid meteor shower, especially in the Northern Hemisphere. The shower will spawn the greatest number of meteors on the mornings of August 11,12 and 13.
Observers can see the shower’s peak, the greatest number of meteors, on the morning of August 12th, according to NASA.
This year, moonlight can hamper you to clearly spot the Perseids. However, pre-dawn hours is the best time to look.
UNDESIRABLE CONDITION
Normally, you can see 60 meteors per hour. But due to the undesirable condition of the Moon phase, last quarter, the number of meteors drop to 15-20 per hour.
There are some crucial things to do during Perseid meteor shower.
HOW TO SEE
You do not need any special equipment. Find a dark area and open sky. An open sky is necessary because the above-mentioned meteors go to different directions in the sky.
Lean back and look up at the sky. To remind, it takes a while to adjust your eyes to the dark.
Give yourself at least an hour for observing, do not forget that the longer you wait, the more you will see.
The Perseid meteors come from Comet Swift-Tuttle, which will pass nearby Earth in 2126.
